It is still not easy to put into words the overwhelming joy, gratitude, peace and admiration for everything that came from participating in Catholic Journeys Pilgrimage to Fatima, Lourdes and Rome. We knew when we booked this journey (Holy Rollers) it was going to be full of churches, holy locations and the grandest of bucket list places to see.. We did not know it would be full of the most wonderful people from all over the nation to be new friends of the same interest. That alone, the friendships made are enough to say “Make a catholic Pilgrimage” it is the only way to travel. We had families, siblings, mother daughters, couples, singles and youth. We had it all, small and powerful in our way. We had never met which surprised our tour guide in Portugal. She, Lara was the most educated positive patient leader any group could get. She got more than a group of Pilgrims and we laughed, hugged, prayed and sang Immaculate Mary through 4 Countries, 5 including the Vatican and 5 different languages in 10 days. We were blessed with so many more sights, and just as the itinerary states, we saw it all, and some and little time to pee or shop. It was very organized and thorough. We kept thinking how can the next place top this, and it always did. The hotels, dinner, food was awesome. We averaged more steps than imaginable with two unexpected scooters aboard. Lourdes blessed us with healings and Rome provided us with front row views of the Pope. This pilgrimage filled the Life long calling and dream for my sister and I. The bus driver, the daily guides and our personal private Lara and Valentina educated us and took great care. I would recommend this to anyone. And I thank all the pilgrims in my “Catholic Journeys – May” pilgrimage for their kindness, patience, devotion to Mary and love.

I would like to commend the Staff of Catholic Journeys for a job well done on organizing and ensuring the travel (by air and by land), hotel accommodations, mass celebrations, and collateral arrangements of the pilgrimage that went smooth and trouble-free for all the member pilgrims. The hotel accommodations and dinners were all four-star rated and nearby our pilgrimage sites; very well planned out in advance.

The designated priest, Fr. Armando, who accompanied us throughout the pilgrimage was a superb choice because of his extensive experience and maturity in delivering homilies based on the Gospel readings.

The designated tour guide, Lara, expertly handled the control of the group and disseminating information; she is well informed on the various sites we have visited. Valentina as well, our tour guide in Rome; she went out to help me process the police report for my lost passport.

Godspeed on Catholic Journeys’ future endeavors and giving catholic pilgrims their most sought-after chapter of their lives.

I just got back from the Fatima, Avila, Lourdes, Rome pilgrimage. I can’t comment enough on how organized the Catholic Journeys pilgrimages are. This is the second pilgrimage that I’ve taken with them and this has never been a problem. Everything and everyone are in their places and Jacie and Marcelle work diligently to keep us all organized and informed.
My favorite was Lourdes. I was amazed by the candlelight procession with everyone praying the Rosary and singing in their own native language. It just shows how universal the Catholic Church is. I really enjoyed the history of Fatima and Avila, and it was a privilege to see the 4 major basilica during the Jubilee year.
I truly recommend this pilgrimage and Catholic Journeys.

I recently returned from the Catholic Journey’s pilgrimage to Fatima, Lourdes, and Rome. My traveling partner was my sister, Marlys Kasprick who handled booking for me.
Overall the pilgrimage was wonderful! We had pleasant weather which enabled us to travel to the sites with no road problems. The hotels that were booked were all very nice, some with very abundant breakfast choices! The restaurants that were chosen were excellent for a group of our size, so nice to have a ‘back room’ area for us to eat, talk, and laugh, but not disturb local guests. We traveled to countries of Portugal and Spain where I had not been before.
This trip was very spiritual as our priest was able to celebrate Mass with us every day. The opportunity to attend Mass in chapels with beautiful architecture was such a ‘once-in a lifetime’ experience, truly memorable. Our days were scheduled with many activities which didn’t give a person much time for personal/ quiet prayer time in those churches. One of my favorite churches was the Basilica of St. Teresa of Avila. The Major basilicas in Rome were also impressive, but the crowds of people and waiting in line were a challenge.
I would recommend this trip to all travelers as our guides were very knowledgeable and willing to work with us when problems arose. I hope we get equally great guides on the next trip with Catholic Journeys scheduled for April 2026, Footsteps of St. Paul.

This was my second pilgrimage with Catholic Journeys, and once again, it was a journey of faith, prayer, fellowship, food, and fun.
Here are my reflections on the Fatima, Lourdes, and Rome Pilgrimage Tour:
· • The Catholic Journeys team—Marcelle and Jacie—organized a well-planned pilgrimage and supported us every step of the way, even after we returned home.
· • Tour Managers Joseph and Giulia were outstanding from start to finish.
· • Local tour guides varied in English fluency, but all were knowledgeable and helpful.
· • Lodging and food were consistently excellent.
· • We visited the must-see religious sites of Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy—each deeply meaningful to me.
· • Daily Mass and time for prayer were included throughout.
· • The pace of the pilgrimage felt just right: prayerful, holy, and joy-filled.
